Delivery Information and shipping options
We offer electronic delivery of dietary advice information and other electronic content via e-mail or download. Physical product is supplied via surface or international postal services.
Standard delivery is arranged via the UK Royal Mail to UK addresses. Delivery to all non-UK addresses will be arranged via postal service that customers select at checkout.
Standard delivery does not require a signature and the dimensions of our shipping packaging may mean that product is deposited on your property and not through standard letter boxes. Altruvita cannot accept liability for product that is lost or stolen resulting from this practice.
Specific delivery arrangements can be made by contacting us at the time of ordering.
Delivery to UK addresses is free of charge (as of 9th November 2020) via 1st class standard service – not signed for. If customers require a signed for and tracked service this is available on request.
In the event that charges are necessary these will be communicated directly to customers and postal rates charged at cost for UK domestic delivery at the current 2020 Royal Mail rates.
Non UK, EU deliveries can be shipped and tracked in the UK with signed for delivery at £10.65 per single item. US deliveries will be shipped and tracked in the UK with signed for delivery at £12.95 per single item.
All postage to non UK, EU addresses will be charged at Royal Mail rates at the time of ordering. Rates may be changed without notice as rates change. Please note that any scheduled Royal Mail price increase will be applied without notice.
Orders of more than a single product item will be shipped free of charge.
Any duties payable are the responsibility of the receiving customer.
On acceptance of your order we will confirm that it is being processed via e-mail.
Please login to your account to see the current status of your delivery. If you are concerned that your order is not received as expected please contact us.
If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your order please contact us within 7 days of receipt of your parcel, and our team will assist you by arranging the return of the item(s) being returned. You will need to quote your order reference number when contacting us.
You must contact us before returning an item to request a returns authorisation code. If the item is returned without an authorisation code we will be unable to offer a refund or exchange. You will also be liable for the cost of delivery back to our UK address. For reasons of hygiene, we are unable to offer this returns policy on items that have been opened.
In addition to our returns policy, distance selling regulations provide you with the legal right to cancel your order within seven working days from the date of receipt of the merchandise (see return policy above). Our Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
We require that you send us a notice of cancellation in writing and return the merchandise to us in their original, unopened and unused condition.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Altruvita offers a subscription service that guarantees a delivery either once per month or once every two months, depending on the product, for the duration of the subscription.
Customers can sign up to a 6 month or a 12 month subscription.
Discounts may be applicable and the net total after discount will be divided over equal monthly payments for the duration of the subscription period.
When a subscription is processed via altruvita.com the order confirmation received by customers states that a single order has been processed. Altruvita writes to each customer separately to confirm arrangements of the subscription. This e-mail normally follows during the next week day – Monday to Friday.
Payment is taken at the time of ordering for single products. Payment is processed automatically via the submitted credit card on a monthly schedule or every two months, depending on product, for subscription services.
Refunds are generally expected to be processed within 30 working days but may take longer to appear on your account depending on your banking provider.
