Is there any published scientific evidence of a benefit for vitamin E?

Vitamin E is a food supplement and it has a health claim on the back of label which was approved by the EFSA (Vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress). People may take vitamin E for a number of health reasons, including skin health.

What is the recommended dose?

1 capsule daily. However you may be advised by a health professional to have more than this just for a short period.

Can vitamin E be taken by people with Diabetes?

Yes it can be taken by those with diabetes.

What is the recommended age for taking Vitamin E?
